I would really love to bring my Gamecube to work with me and play it in my office from time to time. What kind of cables will I need? Or can it work in the first place? Any help would be MUCH appreciated. I had this idea yesterday and I won't stop until it's figured out! Haha. Thanks in advance.
Your going to bring a play a GAMECUBE to WORK? lol. How old are you?
Well, you would need a type of video capture device...most are around $99. plus you would need an adapter for the sound. I wouldn't suggest doing this.
Technically, you can with a USB TV Tuner that has a RCA to mini-USB connection(that is into the tuner; I know the WinTV-HVR-950Q has this), but it will be too slow to play anything.
I don't know of another way, at least one that won't void your warranty.
I am 29 and I work with teenagers, so it would be as much for them as for me, dude. I'm not some irresponsible married father of two. Ha. Thanks for the responses, guys. I don't want to pay $99 for some cable because that's how much the Gamecube costs in the first place. I'll keep looking around for a cheaper way to do this.
Your best bet is to just find a small TV to use. Sure, its an extra box sitting around, but it would be cheaper and better the the quality you would get on your macbook.
