Bing-Bong sound

I have an iMac with Leopard and every five minutes or so it makes this double bing-bong sound, kind of like two bubbles bursting. It is kind of anoying as I don0t know what the sound signifies nor how to turn it off.

Tough for us out here to tell what it may be, but some Dashboard Widgets have been known to emit strange sounds.
