    Why would they? It would be a significant cost to the company, maintenance of the release would also be significant. Anyone who seriously wants to develop an app can afford a Mac Mini.

    Hasn't bothered the developrs of the currently 90,000 apps already available in the Apps store.
    Besides, the iPhone OS is a subset of Mac OS, which would need to be enabled to run on Windows.

    Because as Apple make Macs, they'd prefer you to buy one. Plus, iPhone OS is based on Mac OS so is far easier to develop for on Macs.
