HP Scanjet 5370c and new iMac

Hello. I have an older scanner, an HP Scanjet 5370c and I am unable to find any downloadable drivers for it to run on my new iMac. I have plugged it in and it does not show up in image capture, and I found a link on the HP site to have them send me a CD driver, but I am not certain it will work on my computer because the date attached to it is from 2005.

Anyone have any suggestions on how or if I can use this scanner with my new computer?

Hi Sara

When your at your wits end open and try Image Capture, you'll find it in your Application folder.

Download VueScan from http://www.hamrick.com/ and try it.

It help us save an older, expensive ($400), FireWire scanner from MicroTek.

I think VueScan is awesome and so do many other people.
