cell protection

can anybody tell me if it there is a function to protect cells (formula etc) from accidental deletion? Tx

macpro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

You can lock cells in the Options menu. There is also a Button Bar button for this.

I just wish to add that there is a well done Helo available from the Helo menu and that you may download tthe AppleWorks 5 user Guide from:

http://support.apple.com/manuals/#appleworks

If you read Japanese, you may download AppleWorks § User Guide which, only God know why, is available only in Japanese.

Happily, the AppleWorks 5 User Guide is accurate for about 90% of the described features.
