Zboard Fang - Under OS X 10.6

I have an Zboard Fang I use for games and other things. I've mainly used it on my PC in the past, but i'd like to be able to use this on my Mac too. It reacts weird when you plug it into a Mac (it's unsupported for Mac) and assigns some of the keys correctly while others are not. For example, some number keys work, while others are registered as being Num Pad 1 instead of just 1. Not all games let you reassign key values... i was thinking theres got to be a way to assign keys on a USB keyboard to anything you want. So my question is, how can I assign keys on a USB keyboard to whatever I want... either under OS X or via 3rd party software.
