13" MBP (2009) and 30" Apple Cinema Display - not so good connection
I've been using 30" Apple Cinema Display w/ my 13" MBP via Apple's Dual Link DVI cable. Setup is dual display (no mirror).
About a month or so ago, when I turned on MBP, ACD won't turn on. So, I simply unplugged (while MBP still on) cables and re-connect and ACD turned on. This happens not frequently, but does happen and it annoys me. Sometimes, i would need to reboot MBP, then signal will kick in and ACD will be turned on. When it doesn't work, I see light blinks on ACD and MBP will be booted as if "dual mode" even though ACD is not on.
IS MBP not strong enough to use ACD... in reality? Is there an UPDATE that I'm not aware of, for ACD?
