Way to "shutter"/"mute"/black screen TV display during playback

I am wondering if there is a way to "mute" the TV display while playing music through my Apple TV. Our one year old is totally attracted to the music information screens and I would like to turn off the picture while playing music. Any insight on that?

ATV 40 GB, Mac OS X (10.5.4)

You could output your audio through an amp/receiver or other audio only device.

If you have a set with standard RCA inputs you could potentially connect AppleTV via component/HDMI to see and select the audio, but have a pair of analogue red/white RCA cables on an alternate input for audio without the yellow composite or S-video signal - audio but no video.
A workaround for sure.

Perhaps better to use external speakers or amp/receiver for audio/duties.

Don't forget possible Airtunes function to stream music to AppleTV from a computer either direct or using iPhione/iPod touch to control the audio.

I'm wondering what a screensaver using black matte stock would look like, not going to check it out though.
