Roxio Easy VHS to DVD

Has anyone used this kit? I want to convert some VHS tapes to DVD on my MacBook (no firewire) and this seems on the face of it to be the ideal solution via USB.

Just wanted to know if anyone had used it and if it worked well.

Appears to be for Windows only.

Here's how to do the conversion properly no extra software required, works with iMovie FCE and FCP: http://desktop.grassvalley.com/products/videoconversion.php

You can use iDVD to make the disks afterwards.

I just purchased and this seems to be the perfect solution. You will need extra memory storage, but this should not be an issue.

Basically, connect the outputs (video, audio) from your VCR, Camcorder or other device and press play. The program will sample the video and sound. When you are ready to record, hit play.

I am currently working on the best export format which may be DV Stream. Quick Time MP4 will be fine to, depending on how you are going to review..

Program also directly imports into iMovie for editing.
