Fit Slideshow to Music

iMovie'08 & 09 are not the tools to do this (MY opinion)

The precision isn't good/easy enough.

iMovie previous versions gives a wave-form then I use dummy black photos to put in as place holders.

Still no easy way.

FinalCut - is the tool that gives 100% control

BUT IT HAS A RATHER STEEP learning curve. But when confortable with the way
pro editing works You get a tremendous revard in total control.

The option is available in iPhoto. It makes nice slide show movies.

I agree with QuickTIme Kirk. If you want to easily change the duration of the slides to fit some music, use iPhoto.

However, if you want to have the slides change along with the beat of the music, use iMovie 09. (iMovie 08 does not have this feature.)
