Removal of DRM from Purchased Movies from iTunes

I am trying to find a solution to store an iTunes Movie I purchased from the iStore on my ReadyNAS DUO and play the file on my PS3, even though the PS/3 is DLNA compliant it won't play the file, I suspect this is due to the DRM copy protection on the file. Has anyone found a way around this? I don't want to do anything illegal with the file, just play it through the PS3 at home.

Sad to say but this would also be illegal and also against the Terms of Use of the iTunes store movie purchases.
You cannot remove the DRM from movies purchased thru iTunes.
And discussion of removing DRM (since that would almost certainly be illegal) is against the Terms of Use of these forums.

Perhaps this will change eventually. This was the case with iTunes music where all the itunes store music was DRM protected and could only be played on Apple products. Now all the itunes Store music content is now DRM free. So while it stinks right now, perhaps movies and other video content will someday be protection-free.
