iphone 3g with mophie juice pack air sync problem

The mophie juice pack air advertises that it will charge the iphone and MJPA at the same time using the micro usb cable and that it has the pass through micro usb connection to allow the iphone to sync with itunes while connected to the MJPA. Neither of these things are working for me. When connected to my computer the MJPA syncs alone and even when it fills the iPhone still doesn't charge and my iPhone does not appear in my itunes to allow a sync

Imac6,1, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

Have you tried another USB port?

I have one that works exactly as advertised.

If yours doesn't work properly, I suggest you return it for replacement.

I've seen the same thing. I bought a MJPA from Best Buy and I couldn't sync or charge the phone with it, so I exchanged it for another from Best Buy and have the same problem. I've tested it on three different Macs and two different iPhones, it would never work.

I'm having this problem too, when I plug it into my computer, my iPhone doesn't acknowledge that anything has happened, the mophie just happily charges up while my iPhone doesn't sync and is dying at 10% battery. Any solution to this problem?

Mophie sent a replacement cable and that fixed the issue. I also bought another one at a Tmobile store and it worked as well. Just seems like they had a bunch of bad cables shipped out with their products.
