Saving a .gif file?!?!

Hey guys, sorry if this is in the wrong section, I couldn't find where else to put this thread.


Well, I have searched ALL OVER THE INTERNET and I can't find an answer to this, How ON Earth do you save a .gif file on a macbook? or it isn't possible?

someone on a forum created one and I right click save it but it saves as picture by picture not the animation itself.

I can save it but its like frame by frame. How cna I save it so when I open it its doing the dancing/animation etc.

Just click on the link below the image that says, "Download Animation onto your System." The file will be saved in the default location you've chosen in your browser's preferences. If you CTRL- or RIGHT-click on the link then you can select the option to save the file elsewhere such as on your Desktop.

Gifbuilder is only as stand alone. Mac OS X Mail will not play animated GIFs regardness of what you try. This is a limitation put in Mac OS X Mail since the release of Mac OS X 10.4. Some other mail software for Macs may support animated GIFs, but not the one that has been included with Macs, since April 29, 2005.
