iTunes Radio Not Playing

I am trying to listen to some of the various Radio streams in the iTunes Library... most of them do not work for me. Some do. I don't know how to tell the difference... or what to look at to see why some work and some down.

I am on an open WiFi connection which usually has pretty darn good speed. I don't know much about the Mac Firewall, would that be an issue? I'm new to the Mac, got my first MacBook about 2 months ago.

I am also having this problem, but these stations did play for me in the not-too-distant past. Does anyone have ideas? Here are the url's I am trying to listen to:

both public radio KLCC in Eugene Oregon. Cannot get Portland OBP stations to play anymore either

I'm running OS 10.5.8 and iTunes 9 on a G5. I've had the machine for nearly 5 years and have never once been able to get it to connect to any streaming radio station. I've tried everything I can think of, and nothing makes any difference. I don't have a firewall installed, just a DSL router. Everything else works perfectly except streaming.

Any ideas??
