Does my iMac have a mini TOSLink output jack?

It is an iMac 7.1, around 2 years old. I am attempting to output sound using a mini TOSlink cable from the jack that has a speaker graphic above it. Is this an optical output?

Yes it does, it is the same jack as the headphone jack. You just need a cable like this:

BTW, I'm not recommending this vendor I'm just showing you the type of cable needed.

Thanks. That's what I have, but I had it in the wrong jack. Now I understand why it is referred to as a "combo" in About This Mac.
