I own both Microsoft Office for Macintosh AND Pages. Can I use the Office clipart in pages?

You didn't say which version of Microsoft Office and what format the clipart was in.

Pages accepts the following clipart:

If you have the PC version of Microsoft Office the clipart may be .wmf or .emf which Pages doesn't accept. But try whatever you have and see.

Have you checked what format clipart is with the Mac version?

I don't have it so can't check for you.

I have just had a look at their website:

…and it all looks like relatively low resolution .jpegs and .png files in other words bitmaps. Not having tried MsWord in yonks I don't know if it can handle industry standard vector files like .pdf, .eps and .ai. It certainly used to always have trouble with them when I had to use Office.

The quick answer is yes, sorta. Microsoft's clipart is in a proprietary format so you can't just browse for it using Pages but if you have Word running you can search for clipart and insert it into a Word document and then copy and paste it into Pages. This will work for clip art but not for smart art or word art.
