where do you find Ipod classic games in itunes 9

To locate the iPod classic's game, you will have to hover your mouse over the App button at the top of the iTunes store window until a small arrow appears on the right side. From there, you can click on that to open a drop down menu that has an option for "iPod Games"

That should do the trick for you. 😉

Just a slight clarification, it has an entry for "iPod Click Wheel Games".

Seems slight, but I did have one OP write back saying they couldn't find a category for "iPod Games" but did find the above.

i'm having this same problem. i'm afraid my drop down menu doesn't mention anything about itunes, it only mentions games. when i click on that, up come hundreds of games, the ones of which i've clicked on only seem to be compatible with the iPhone or iPod touch. any suggestions?

Start iTunes, in the frame on the left click on iTunes Store. When it loads there will be a menu across the top, go to the one that says Apps Store and a downward pointing triangle will appear. Click on it and if you are in the US the third one down will be Click Wheel Games.

i'm not in the US, i'm in the UK. any more pointers?

The links to iPod ClickWheel Games are currently missing from the UK store. I've dropped a line to iTunes Feedback but more probably wouldn't hurt. If you stick your applications folder in List view, select an existing game and then click on the store link (blue arrow) it should open the correct page for that game in the store. I can't work out the address to provide a generic link to the main ClickWheel page but this link below should take you to the page for Monopoly and you ought to be able to find other games from there.

Which of course you can't because there are no backward facing links... Hopefully you've got at least one game to act as a link to the Click Wheel games page, if not let me know which title you're interested in and I'll create a link like the one above.
