The PowerBook does not get "extensive" use, and has occasionally been fully discharged while sleeping.
I have two of these machines and have swapped the battery between the two -- one battery works fine in both machines, the one displaying the above stated issue has the same no recharge performance in both machines.
There has never been any unusual battery behavior prior to this "dead" condition, and was working and charging just fine less than a week before death.
Just replace with a new battery, or is there a diagnostic or reset that should be run prior to simply giving up on the battery?
Thanks for any insights.
