Could you help me using "Linest Function" ? (about ctrl+shift+enter stuff)

I'm a MS office user, but i found that iWork is much easier to use so i'm trying to get to know how's working in Numbers which I've been using frequently in Excel.
The following is what I did using Excel..

To calculate the slope, the intercept as well as their uncertainties for a given set of x-calues and y-values, LINEST function can be used.
Say I have,

X-value Y-value
0.038 0.096
0.058 0.392
*1 *2
*3 *4

To get the slope, the intercept as well as their uncertainties, I select 4 cells below the table as shown above *1 to *4.
If I type " =LINEST(B2:B3,A2:A3,,TRUE) and then press SIMULTANEOUSLY control shiftenter,
I am able to get slope in cell *1, uncertainty in slope in cell *3, intercept in cell *2, and the uncertainty in intercept in cell 4.
However, in Numbers, I cannot do the same thing with same procedure..
What should i do to get all of those 4 at the same time?
Please let me know..Thank you!

First, be aware that Numbers is not MS Excel, and Excel is not Numbers. Features available in one of these two applications are not necessarily available in the other.

LINEST in Numbers works somewhat differently from what you describe. The function is well described in the "iWork Formulas and Functions Help" document, available through the Help menu.

I'd start there, with a search for LINEST.

Barry
