The mainlink is very useful, also for my student colleagues who have just started with studying chinese.
It seems that the "Pro" version is more than enough for me. Probably I can find a bundle (scanner/ReadIris 12) to a cheaper price than that offered on their homepage.MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

After move than a month of use, have you found in trouble with it in Snow Leopard? How is scanning using the Brother software? Or have you tried VueScan? Does it print well from postscript based apps like Adobe Illustrator? And how is the halftone output when printing photos?
Sorry for all the questions, but it's next to impossible to find any decent reviews on what looks to be an exceptional all-in-one monochrome laser.
