Midi and Audio syncing trouble

Im creating a song in Logic, and I'm using a bunch of different software instruments at the same time, and with certain ones I am getting a delayed reaction from when the time bar goes over the midi note to when i can hear it. It isnt much, but its enough to make certain instruments a milisecond or two off beat. Is there a way to prevent/fix this?

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.7), none

You can push them or pull them by using either + or - delay values in the track inspector.

Depends how many and how complex the instruments are you're running really. Even though the tracks appear to be firing off all at the same time, they actual fire off one by one in sequence ( albeit extremely fast) so it is a possibility.

They fire from the top of the arrange downwards in order, so if something going out badly, try moving it up and see if it makes a difference.

Although these delays are pretty negligible nowadays, they used to happen quite noticeably with external midi if you had a lot of tracks working together.. that's why that delay feature exists in the first place, to compensate for this.
