Please, move the 'send' button away from the keyboard!

Agree absolutely. I have had this problem often and it can be quite embarrassing
in a business context as you look like a real dummy..

It does need a fix and I have also logged feedback with Apple.

There is a workaround and this is to create an SMS message without the phone number - you do this from messaging not phone - in order to prevent the possibility of an accidental send. When you are ready you put the Ph # in and hit send.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work when replying, which are the vast majority of texts. I have also sent a few texts sooner than planned because of this and would like to see it moved as well. I'll post some feedback.

Can't say I've heard anyone report this problem, though I haven't searched the forums. How big are your finger tips?

I completely agree. I haven't accidentally sent a message prematurely but continually notice the send button creeping into the corner of my vision as it taunts me with being way too close to the other keyboard keys. This is the type of usability mistake you wouldn't expected Apple to make.

I have the same problem when typing fast.

I have provided feedback to Apple about this.

Can't say I've ever heard anyone voice this concern, BUT I felt the same for about a week after my original iPhone, over 2 years ago. It's called adapting.

It's as simple as typing in your text first, B4 you fill in the address.

Sounds like you need to type your text in notepad and then copy it to SMS.
