1500x100 and 720x480

1500x100 and 720x480

Both are 1.5 ratios, so why wouldn't a 1500x1000 jpg from photoshop come in full screen into my fcp 720x480 sequence? There is a bit of letterboxing going on for some reason. You'd think it would fit exactly if it's the same screen ratio? i should know this, so thanks for helping!!

Hi -
You need to make sure the pixel aspect ratio of your jpg is set for NTSC-CCIR 601.
If you look at the jpg in your bin, scroll the info over to the Pixel Aspect column, and control click on the pixel aspect you can select the pixel aspect you want.
