How to develop for Mac OS 9

Hi all,
I'm looking for some kind of develop tools in Mac OS 9 like XCode in Mac OS X.
Can anybody introduce me some tools like that? I've googled but get nothing.
Well, actually, I'm not really going to write some programs for OS 9, I'm just a little bit curious.
So if anyone know some, please tell me and it will be great if there is some manuals too.
You may also send me a email. <Edited by Host>
Thanks!

Here are some buzzwords that you can google:
MPW
Think C
Metrowerks Codewarrior
Resorcerer
ResEdit
AppMaker

All of these products have been discontinued but you may find them as used items.

Writing Mac applications is FAR from easy. I worked for almost 2 years reading, studying and experimenting before I wrote what I consider my first viable commercial-grade application. The Mac (particularly pre-X) is completely unforgiving. Your code has to be 100% perfect or you will quickly garner a "you build junk" reputation - because your application will routinely crash the computer.
