23" Cinema Display won't stay calibrated
I have a 23" Apple Cinema HD Display connected to a Dual G5. Whole system is about 2 years old.
I have calibrated the monitor using the calibration tool (display calibrator assistant in expert mode) in the system prefs.
Problem: Monitor is claibrated and displays color correctly, but over time ( I can't tell you how long because it's random) the screen starts to lighten. i.e. my desktop color is a dark blue and it will turn to a lighter blue (screen starts to look "washed out"). I then open the display profiles and click on my saved claibration and it returns to it's corrrected state. This has happened multiple times now. Any reason why it would do this?
Thanks, Jeff
