Hey guys,

How can I block some websites to open in iphone's safari. by block I mean, block for good, with authorization (using a password) to unblock the websites perhaps. I've been trying to block adult websites (I've got my really demanding reasons), so it would be better to be able to block websites by genre not by specifically adding them one by one. any help please ?

Not any way that I know of. You can suggest that Apple add this feature: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

Or you can return the iPhone (if you bought it recently) and cancel your contract, or sell the iPhone and get one that has this password protected website feature. You'll need to do a little research as I'm not aware of one offhand that supports this. Do you have one in mind that you highly rank?

i can guess why you would like to block some websites but doing so like serching some biblical sites would also be blocked. the trick is to narrow your search by how you phrase it.

internetsafety.com has a filter for the iphone or you can have someone put in a password for blocking certain sites. I'm no expert like some of these guys on here, but that's my two cents worth. Hope that helps!

I do not know the details of how it works, but for $4.99/month, AT&T offers their "Smart Limits for Wireless Parental Controls" service, which does have some kinds of internet blocking. However, none of that applies if on a wifi conneciton, since AT&T cannot control that.
