Deleted RSS Feeds Reappear in Mail once Snow Leopard is Installed
Since installing Snow Leopard, I and others on this forum have noticed that deleted RSS feeds are now returning and mixing together with the ones that were retained. In my Mail Preferences for RSS feeds, I have it set to remove items manually. (Snow Leopard must have snuck in a "put back automatically" feature.)
This was not a problem before Snow Leopard. Very annoying when you delete items you don't need, only to have months-worth of them return and get mixed in with the ones you wanted to keep. Apple created a support document regarding this problem called, "Mac OS X v10.6: Cannot delete some RSS feeds in Mail" (Article TS3033). Here is the entire text of the article:
Symptoms: Some RSS feeds you delete in Mail may re-appear later.
Resolution: If this occurs, delete the feed again.
Unfortunately, deleting the feed again does not always resolve problem, as the support document claims. I have tried deleting unwanted feeds, over and over, but they still keep coming back each time I reboot.
