MainStage2, Omnisphere, and silence
I had started to notice that when I run MS2 and it started up in concert mode with a patch selected that uses Omnisphere, I just got silence until I selected another patch and then reselected the patch that used Omnisphere after which it worked fine.
Today, however, I was modifying object assignments, e.g, assigning a MIDI footpedal to control MIDI CC 1 (Modulation) for a particular Omnisphere patch. I noticed that Omnispehere again went silent until I switched to another MS patch and then back to the Omnisphere patch again.
I then assigned a pitch wheel object to Omnisphere pitchbend, and again, silence.
Finally, I assigned a second keyboard controller to Omnisphere, and then again, silence until I changed patches and went back again.
So, it seems to be that anytime I changed ANY MIDI assignment (I didn't try any other mappings or try this experiment with other patches), Omnisphere went silent until I did the patch change away and back.
Anyone else seen this behavior, with MS2?
