"Podcast has already been submitted" Error: What do I change!?!

I've been dealing with this for a few weeks now. I do a podcast every week and have several podcasts to upload but always get this message. I'm not sure exactly what iTunes looks at to verify (what tags). Does anyone know what needs to be different? I've change one of them almost completely and it still won't let me submit it. For the love of god Apple people, what is the secret here?

Should I just be updating 1 rss file by adding the <item> tag to it instead of creating 1 rss file per show?

Yes, absolutely. You shouldn't do what you have been doing, it's a recipe for chaos as you've found.

Just add the new episode by making a new 'item' tag and re-upoad the aupdated file to the same address. It will take the iTunes Store 1-2 days (occasionally more) to update though any subscribers will see the changes immediately.

This page may possibly clarify things for you:

Thanks, I updated my main RSS file with all the <item>'s and they all show up... but only after you subscribe to my Podcast.

However, new users that have never visited get the main page and sure enough you see the original files only that I uploaded when I created the podcast:

Will that update automatically with all my files?
