Nuendo -> Logic - transfering files?

Nuendo -> Logic - transfering files?

Just wondering if there is an "easy" way to transfer files from Nuendo to Logic 8.
I will be remixing some material that was produced on Nuendo & I ofcourse work with Logic.
Is there a way of importing the files? or do u have to bounce out the tracks individually?

export or bounce each track from the beginning of the project to the end and import them into Logic is the easiest way.

Don't know about Nuendo. Perhaps ask in a Nuendo forum... In Logic you can export all tracks. Must be a similar command in Nuendo?

If it's all audio...

Export either OMF or AAF in Nuendo.

Also, Nuendo saves files in BWF (Broadcast Wave) which have included timestamps.
Import to Logic and use the "move to original recorded position" option.

Just to add one point: when transferring .wav (BWF) files make sure that Logic's SMPTE reference is set to the same as the Nuendo session you are exporting from.

Ahhh... good point, your imported files could end up an hour up/down the road.

Most programs default SMPTE to 00.00.00.00 Logic defaults to one hour 01.00.00.00
