Macbook to Wonderwall Projector - Help?

Hi all,

I have a white Macbook purchased early 2007 (but I'm running Snow Leopard). I purchased the very cheap Discovery Wonderwall projector. It only has RCA input (the red, yellow, white). It came with an RCA to RCA cable, and I purchased a Dynex Mini-DVI to Composite Video and S-Video.

I've talked to guys in Best Buy, called AppleCare, posted to Yahoo Answers, all to no avail.

Please help.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

I don't know if it is recognizing the display. I would venture not.

If we consider three cases:
1) Mini-DVI is unplugged from Macbook: In System Preferences > Displays, I only see Display and Color.

2) Mini-DVI is plugged into Macbook (but nothing else): In System Preferences > Displays, I now see Display, Arrangement, and Color.

3) Mini-DVI is plugged into Macbook, composite video plugged into adapter, composite video plugged into projector: In System Preferences > Displays, I still see Display, Arrangement, and Color.

This leads me to believe that it's not actually recognizing something plugged into it at all...

And yes, I am sure that are cables are secure and they are all newly purchased so I assume they are good.
