Cannot find M Audio Axiom Pro 49 in Logic 9 Control Surfaces?

Hi there

I'm using an M audio Axiom Pro 49, Interfacing via MIDI into an Edirol UA-4FX, on a Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard and Logic 9.02.

Despite what I do with the MIDI cables, when trying to install the keyboard in control surfaces, it will not come up in the scan. The Edirol soundcard works fine, I have been using it before now.

I have installed the Hypersupport information from the disk that came with the keyboard.

I'm stumped, please contribute 🙂

Hi

Does Logic recognize the Axiom when the Axiom is connected via USB (with the latest correct driver, of course)?

Is the MIDI on your Edirol box being recognized in the Audio MIDI setup utility?
Is the Edirol's Advanced switch turned on?
Do you have the Advanced driver installed?

Howdy. I have been using the Axiom Pro 25 with Logic 9.02, and while I certainly could be mistaken, I don't think Hypercontrol will function while Axiom Pro is plugged via MIDI as opposed to USB. I am unfamiliar with the Edirol unit you mentioned, but from my experience, Hypercontrol requires USB communication with Axiom Pro to play nice.

Thank you, it appeared I had to plug in via USB as oppose to sound card.

I'm confused. You have HyperControl working in Snow Leopard, even though M-Audio has not released a SL drivier for the Axiom Pro yet?
