Importing an ldif address book?

Hello All,

I am trying to see if 10.6 allows for importing .ldif address books. As far as I can tell this function has been removed.

In 10.5 I was able to do this using the import function which gave a person the choice of ldif, vcard, text file, or address book archive.

Does the option to import an ldif file live somewhere else? or is it totally removed?

Macbook, Mac OS X (10.6.1), 2GB RAM

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately its a lot of work addresses so it would be hard for me to single out which ones actually needed to be converted. At least if they had the 10.5 way of doing it I could just use the file and it would decide which were duplicates and I could decide to not import them.

Hmm if not a way to do that possible a step backwards for snow leopard. I hope that isn't the case.

Thanks for your help though V.K. 🙂
