Safari window moves, Firefox window doesn't

Safari window moves, Firefox window doesn't

Often, when I launch Safari, its window has moved from the position I previously set. This movement doesn't happen with Firefox. The Firefox window stays where I put it.

My question: Why does the Firefox window stay put but the Safari window move?

HI,

Open System Preferences/Expose & Spaces - Spaces.

Make sure Enable Spaces isn't selected.
