Faster Magic Mouse tracking

What type of surface are you using for a mouse pad?

CAVEAT - Back up EVERYTHING to a Cloned bottable drive before you open Terminal. 😉

Ditto. It's too slow to move from the top of a 17" MBP screen to the bottom without lifting your hand - not good. Tried this fix, didn't work for me either.

same problem here Evan. Can't believe they put this on the market. Magic mouse? It's more like a Wii-fit! With a fast, agressive, short move the pointer goes to the other site of the screen. But I'm still waiting for my apple wrist strap to arrive before I injur someone.

Okay so i bought two magic mice, and I installed the first one on my macbook pro and i noticed the tracking to be really fast, that was until I ran the software update. It definitely broke the mouse so now even at the fastest setting I can't make it from one side of my macbook pro to the other in one swipe. So when I got home tonight I paired it with my iMac and the same thing! It tracked really fast until i installed the magic mouse software update! The update is what slows the track speed down there is definitely something wrong!! This needs to be fixed ASAP or i'm returning this crap!

Same old old problem as with the wireless mighty mouse. Sheesh.

Yes the tracking is slow even on the highest setting. I'm having to pick up my mouse a lot using a 23" Cinema display. I feel for the ones on a 27" iMac or 30" Cinema display...

Hope 10.6.2 fixes this.
