Time Capsule - Can Replace Airport Extreme and Permit Multiple Backups?

Hello Networking Gurus:

Currently have one iMac backing up to Time Machine hard drive and an Airport Extreme (b/g) running wireless network.

Any problem with acquiring a Time Capsule to both replace/upgrade the older Airport Extreme for networking and using the TimeCapsule to wirelessly back up a total of three Macs?

In reviewing the discussions it looks like the TM can handle both these roles. Anybody have good or bad experience with multiple Macs backing up to a TM?

Thanks.

I back up the same number of Macs to a Time Capsule. Your network will slow down when a computer does a backup. It would probably slow down quite a bit more if more than one Mac tried to back up at the same time. You should be able to control that somewhat by taking care when you enable Time Machine on each computer. It would also help if each computer's initial backup were done while connected to the Time Capsule with an Ethernet cable.

If you want to migrate your existing backup to the Time Capsule, there's supposed to be a way to do that, but it doesn't seem to be trivial.
