what does isync do anyway?

hey, i just recently filled my mac to near capacity (less than 2 GB left) so I'm looking for things to delete so i have memory when i don't have my external hard drive on hand, so i was wondering. what does isync do anyway? if someone could answer this and provide some software that comes standard that people don't generally use it would be much appreciated.

Don't bother deleting applications. Trash items in the /Library/Printers/ and /Library/Packages/ folders on your system, and run Monolingual. Don't delete the PowerPC architecture if you use any PowerPC apps.

But don't delete it. You should never delete or move built-in apps. You'll only cause havoc for future software updates that depend on them being installed.
