Why Always Default to HD version?
Apple should fix this: When one clicks on a downloaded TV show in order to check for newer episodes, iTunes always defaults to the HD version of the show - even when one has clicked on a standard definition file to get there.
As a result not noticing this, I've spent more than I needed to, and taken far too long and taken up far more space than necessary on many occasions. The iTunes store should open the version of the show that matches the version of the file one clicked to get there, at the very least. Even better, they should allow one to set a preference within their profile, so the customer does not have to remember to check the video resolution of a given download every time they want to buy an episode.
Sorry for not posting a question, but I could not find any other forum for trying to get a message to Apple. Hopefully, others will chime in to agree, so maybe they will notice. I know I'm not alone in this experience.
