Search for vertical line " | " key (combination) under bootcamp

Hi,

i tried every possible combination i can think of and searched the web however i couldn't find anything.
How can i get (under bootcamp WinXP) the " | " sign?

Under Mac-OS its Alt+7
but it doesn't seem possible under windows...

That is quite weired :-o

I tried the keys again with '/' or '\' but no sucess. Normaly on a german keyboard the vertical line is on the key above the left 'ctrl' key. It is the key with '<' on it. This seems to be a bug to me...

ok found it:

the keyboard/language settings (ime) were:

Deutschland (Apple)
had to scwitch it to:
Deutschland (Deutschland)

Now it works altough i have to set it for each app indidually...

You don't get it in Windoze by typing Shift + the key directly under the Delete key?

Directly under the delelte key is:

1.) + and (using shift) *
2.) Enter

I have a german keyboard layout...
So you get the vertical line by pressing shift+a normal key?

The US keyboard layout has "\" and "|" on that key. Sorry.
