Hi there,

First, ensure you are connected to a valid Wi-Fi point. I live in the city centre and my phone likes to auto-connect to an ISP cloud provider instead of my own Wi-fi connection. When it does this, the Wi-fi icon appears, even though the internet connection will not work.

Secondly, make sure that your own router has been configured to allow access to your iPhone; perhaps in addition to a password you are also required to put the device MAC number in the allow list?

Good luck!
