My MacBook Air is showing the "service battery" warning. I took it to an Apple Center, they ran the test and said that it needs replacing. They didn't have one in stock. So, now I am back home where there are no service centers closer than about a 7 hour drive. I need a battery and can't get one. Has anyone tried an aftermarket battery in a Mac Air. They are readily available, but I am not sure if they will have the longevity. I called Apple Customer support, and was referred to my local Future Shop. They said to just go on the internet and order an aftermarket one. Kind of useless. Any suggestions?
