Question

S710a phone's built-in Remote Control

The Sony Ericsson S710a has a built-in capability for remotely controlling a Bluetooth computer. Mine sort of works with the Mac, except for the following:

1) establishing remote control link results in OS X prompting me to indentify my keyboard (prompt can be easily dimissed)

2) phones "MediaPlayer" remote control option does not work with iTunes

S710a (or similar) owners, please chime in. Is there a work-around, or do I really need Salling Clicker?

Having tried the in-built I found Romeo worked for me with my S700i

Uh, thanks, but I'm looking for a solution that uses the built-in capabilities of both phone and Mac (e.g., no added-on software).

If I wanted software, I'd go with Salling Clicker. Trusted name with a mature (hint: out of Beta) product.

I hate to say it, but the above work better than the full-blown Salling Clicker, at least on this phone!
