browse file on a Nokia 6620

I am trying to get photos from the memory card of my Nokia 6620 into my PowerMac Dual 450. If I try to send from the phone, I get "Unable to connect." If I use "Browse Device" from my mac, I get an window purporting to show the root directory (/) but it has no content (like subfolders???) If I try to create a new folder on the phone from my mac, it fails. The mac and the phone are paired devices and I sync them regularly.
How do I transfer image files to my mac?????

I just discovered that I am unable to send a photo via Bluetooth. This used to work flawlessly with my Nokia 6600. I have not tried it in months, probably since before I upgraded to Tiger.

I have a nice digital camera now so I rarely take photos with my phone. But I took one today and I want it out of my camera and into my computer so I can email it. I do not have email functions on my phone anymore because Bluetooth allowed me to do everything I needed to do without the extra monthly charge.

I am able to isync my address book from my computer to my phone with no problem, so I know my Bluetooth is working. Why won't it let me send a photo to the computer!!???

Tiger has crashed my ability to use iPhoto. It gives me the spinning ball of death and makes me use force quit. I used to love iPhoto and now it has me in tears. Now this with a simple transfer that used to work just fine. There are many things I love about Tiger, but did they have to ruin things that previously worked wonderfully?

the exact thing is going on with my 6620. I can send to it no problem but unlike my t610 I don't see any directory structure or anything like that. Just root where I can't see other folders or create any folder.

Everything that is sent to the 6620 seems to be sent as a message. I wonder if that is the big difference.

I'd like to figure out how to move things off and on the phone easily.

Hi Guys
Not sure this is relevant to you, but I came to this topic because I wanted to transfer multiple files at once. But I notice several of you are saying you can't transfer files at all.

I have a Nokia 6680. I can transfer photos in the following way.
On the phone, go to the Gallery application.
Choose a photo
Choose Options-->Send-->via Bluetooth.
You should be able to send the file fine that way. You can set the folder you receive to on the Mac. You can then import a group of photos into iPhoto and they will appear in the same roll.

What I would rather do is to initiate one file transfer for ALL the photos. But I don't seem to be able to do that with the Browse file option.

Incidentally, I've used the Browse Device option to successfully SEND a file to the Nokia. You can do this for eg AAC music files and then make these into your ring tone. But like others I can't navigate the Nokia file structure as is.

Hope this helps a few of you at least.

I realize this is not the iSync forum, and it's a little off of your topics but you have the same phone as me, no one in the other forums have been any help. Does anyone have a problem, since upgrading to 10.4.3, with syncing their bluetooth phone with their computer? This is how my log reads;

10:25:01 AM Connecting to Nokia 6620
10:25:02 AM Device "Nokia 6620" connected
10:25:02 AM Receiving changes from "Nokia 6620".
10:25:05 AM "Nokia 6620" finished receiving changes
10:25:05 AM "Nokia 6620 Processing changes...
10:25:10 AM "Nokia 6620" engine processing complete
10:25:10 AM Applying changes to "Nokia 6620"
10:25:18 AM "Nokia 6620" applying changes complete
10:25:19 AM Error The connection was lost while sending some changes to the device.
10:25:19 AM Error Device "Nokia 6620" synchronization failed

It almost goes and then craps out, so I can't figure it out.
As I said, everything was great until I upgraded so just wondered if anyone else had a problem and if they found a solution with their phone.
