Stupid problem with network settings

Hi guys!

I have a little problem with my Mac Book Pro... As I enter in the settings, i click on "Network" to open the configurations, but actually the network settings dont load... i don't know why.. it just says "opening network...." on the top of the window, but nothing happens... please help me, I need to access it...

Mac Book Pro mid 2009, Mac OS X (10.6.1)

HI and Welcome to Apple Discussions...

Try deleting this file

com.apple.systempreferences.plist

~/Library/Preferences.

Move that file to the Trash and restart your Mac.
