Accessing Citrix from Safari

I have a MacBook Pro 13 inch. I am trying to access a Citrix website with it and I get to the website but it does not go any further. I click on the icon to open the website and it spins but nothing happens. I also have Intego on the machine. I have unchecked the firewall since I thought maybe the firewall was blocking me. I have also tried to use Firefox but have the same problem. I have no problems using my PC even with the firewalls enabled. Any ideas as to how I can use my Mac to access the Citrix client websites?

HI,

I didn't have any problems loading that site in Safari 4.0.3 on 10.6.1

Try maintenance.

From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...

from the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.

That site requires the Flash Player Plugin. Try uninstalling and reinstalling a new copy of Flash.

How to uninstall your current Flash Player plugin

Install Flash Player plugin

Repair disk permissions:

Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

Thanks for the quick response. I did everything you suggested but it still did not connect. It get about half way through and then gives me the following message: Error connecting through Citrix Secure Gateway; Error reading from proxy server-Error connecting through Citrix Secure Gateway; Error reading from proxy server-unknown error:java.lang.Exception:null. I talked to the people at the NAIC (which is the organization using a program called Teammate which is an audit program) and they said that they did not support 64 bit at this time, so I went into (I think it was Safari, but it may have been Java) and changed the first lookup from64 bit to 32 bit but this still did not work. I have also tried the same with Firefox but get the same messages. Once again thanks for the help so far.
