clear recent search history in google search bar

Would someone know how to clear the recent search history in the Google search bar? There is no option for clearing the recent search, I think that was eliminated. I cleared the cache, in Safari, but that doesn't clear the google search bar. Is there an option? TIA.

Aqua, I found that page before I posted here and did the 2nd and 3rd parts. ... But that will not clear the Google (Q) part of the toolbar. The _recent search clear_ option is not listed, what is there, is "find the __ on this page" instead. Seeing what had been done before is annoying at times. I had the _clear recent history_ option before, I wonder what changed? I think I have read others having this Q as well. Thanks for the welcome. It was this forum that gave me the information to request my Apple store to give me a free repair of the "dreaded vertical lines" in my screen. A 700 dollar fix done for free, cause I learned it was a common problem here!

Hi, sorry, can't seem to figure out how to post a question

Hi fcckmd, and a warm welcome to the forums! 🙂

Yeah, it can be confusing as to where to find the Post New Topic button on this forum.

The reason it's hard to find that Post New Topic link, is because if there are any categories at the top, you must choose one first, like...

http://discussions.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=177

But say chose the Using Mac OS X Tiger and you get...

http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=758&start=0

Clicking the Post New Topic link gets you here...

http://discussions.apple.com/post!default.jspa?forumID=758

that even holds crazy ones like iCal that have but one Category... iCal!
