It seems a software update or something is needed. This error has been reported from anyone using this configuration of hardware/software when attempting to sync their iPhone. It refuses to even detect, iTunes thinks for a minute then comes back with the error when you've plugged in the phone. I am posting on all related parties' support to find out how soon we can all expect a fix
Then this is the wrong place for it. And do you really think, given all the articles in the trades, that Apple wasn't going to be aware of this until you posted here? Did you try a search prior to posting to find all the other posts that were here before yours.
Really is not going to be any way that Apple can help with this problem, comes down to Microsoft and Intel.
I'm running vista 64 and getting the same problem 0xE8000065 plus it's saying Apple mobile device has stopped working... I have done everything but paying the $29.00 to apple..1st gen iphone no warrenty.. I have restarted the services, reinstalled, removed other programs and nothing...
If you are running Windows 7 on a P55 machine you either need to wait for a fix (I think a beta BIOS upgrade is available, check the Intel website), use a different computer or a different OS.
