Non-standard size QuickTime movie to DVD --> is it possible?
Hello all, here's the details:
I've made a 720x480 DV movie (rectangular pixels), which I converted to a QuickTime MOV file (which made the size 854x480 with square pixels, thus maintaining the aspect ratio of the original movie). I then cropped 58 pixels from the top and bottom to simulate the 2.35:1 theatrical aspect ratio and now I have a file of size 854x364. I would like to get this movie file onto DVD, but the trouble is that most DVD authoring software I've seen only has two output options: 4:3 and 16:9. This would stretch my movie to fit one of these ratios, which I don't want at all. I would like to keep my 2.35:1 ratio and have the remaining space be empty or black or something. Is there any software that can take in non-standard sized movie files and maintain the original aspect ratio?
Thanks everyone!
