MS2 midi port bug with edirol pcr-800

This is unbelievable. I've been using MS1 for nearly a year now with relatively good results. I decided it's time to use MS2 for my next live show so I start a fresh MS2 concert from scratch. No matter what I do, mainstage is merging my "PCR Midi in" and "PCR 1" ports, rendering my second controller useless. MS1 recognizes them as separate ports. Midi Monitor sees both ports so I know I'm not merging by mistake on my controller. What is going on?

Roland keyboards are really "weird".

They send the keys and the controllers on different MIDI ports ⚠ and it seems that to support that, MainStage merges them.

I would rather use a simple 1 Port USB MIDI interface than using the MIDI controller as an additional interface.

However, you can fix it. Launch Audio/MIDI Setup and check the name of the device. For Roland it is "EDIROL PCR-1", "EDIROL PCR-A", "EDIROL PCR-M" or "EDIROL PCR". Now control-click on the MainStage application, select "Show Contents", navigate to /Applications/MainStage.app/Contents/Resources/MainStage Devices/Roland and rename the device file for your keyboard to something different. This will fix it, but you are changing the MainStage application!

Don't understand why it worked in MS1 but not MS2. Anyway, the name change kind of worked but it's still doing screwy things. I'll have a working patch made in GSI's VB3 with mappings. I copy/paste the patch to a new one and the drawbars get all buggy. Think it could be the plugin though this time. Still using MS1 for the next show I guess.
