Encrypted memory stick

Hi all,

My employer have implemented an encryption tool to our PCs at work so as soon as you plug in a memory stick you are required to set a password before you can use the device. Likewise to extract data you need to input the password you set.

All ok except now that I am plugging into my Powerbook it seems the encryption software must be PC specific. The only two items showing on the device are:

SVOLBRO.EXE
EDISK.DAT

I have an entire folder on the device that I need to access but instead of a password window popping up when I plug the device in nothing happens.

Is there a way I can get round this or an application I can download that will act as an interface between my Mac and USB device?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

You'll have to contact the developer of the security software and ask whether there is a Mac-based version. If not, you're out of luck: any encryption security that's worth having is unbreakable for all practical purposes. Unless you run Windows in Virtual PC or some other emulator on your Mac, you'll have no options.
